The Chukka Boots: A Refined Classic
The Chukka appears in two considered shades:
a sleek black lambskin, understated and precise, and an Espresso lambskin suede that balances warmth with quiet strength.
Crafted in supple lambskin, the silhouette moves beyond its utilitarian roots into something more relaxed and assured — city-ready, effortless, and refined without rigidity.
It carries a certain McQueen spirit:
masculine without performance, classic without nostalgia.
A familiar form, softened and reimagined the Rich Cast way.
Proportion and Material
A refined interpretation of the traditional Chukka boot, crafted with an emphasis on material and proportion. Unlike most Chukkas, which lean utilitarian, this version is designed with a softer structure and a more composed silhouette.
Made from supple lambskin suede, the leather offers a smoother, more fluid feel than standard calf suede, lending the boot a quiet elegance and natural comfort from the first wear. The gently rounded almond toe keeps the profile relaxed, while maintaining a clean, dress-led line.
Finished with a low stacked heel, the Chukka feels equally at ease indoors or out — understated, balanced, and intentionally restrained.
The Rick Derby — Suede Edition
Rick was first imagined as a dress shoe — polished, precise, and formal in posture. Named after the central figure in Casablanca, it carried a certain composure: controlled, distant, self-possessed.
For the McQueen Edit, that composure is loosened.
Crafted in brown suede, the Derby takes on a more relaxed character. Open lacing introduces ease, while the longer toe and subtle one-inch heel maintain a clean, elongated line. It remains unmistakably dressy, but without the stiffness of occasion.
