Care Instructions
Rich Cast of Characters shoes are handcrafted in Thailand using carefully selected materials. With thoughtful care, they are designed to be worn, loved and kept for years.
As leather is a natural material, subtle variations in colour, grain and texture may occur. These individual characteristics are part of the beauty of each pair and should not be considered imperfections.
GENERAL CARE
Avoid prolonged exposure to water, direct sunlight, heat, humidity and harsh surfaces. If your shoes become wet, gently blot away excess moisture with a clean, soft cloth and allow them to dry naturally at room temperature. Never use a hairdryer or place them near a direct heat source.
Allow your shoes to rest between wears. After wearing, gently remove any surface dust before storing them.
Do not machine wash, soak or use household cleaning products on any Rich Cast of Characters shoes.
SMOOTH LEATHER
Remove surface dust with a clean, dry cloth. To maintain the leather’s appearance and suppleness, occasionally apply a small amount of neutral leather conditioner using a soft cloth.
Always test any care product on a discreet area first, as some products may alter the colour or finish of the leather.
SUEDE
Suede is naturally delicate and should be protected from water, oil and contact with light-coloured clothing or surfaces.
Use a soft suede brush to gently remove dust and restore the texture, brushing in the direction of the nap. For stains or deeper cleaning, we recommend consulting a professional shoe-care specialist.
Do not apply standard leather cream or polish to suede.
TEXTURED AND EMBOSSED LEATHER
Gently wipe textured or embossed leather with a clean, soft cloth. Avoid excessive pressure, vigorous rubbing and heavy conditioning products, as these may affect the surface texture and finish.

MESH AND DELICATE FABRICS
Mesh and other delicate materials require extra care. Avoid contact with sharp objects, rough surfaces and liquids.
Remove dust gently using a very soft, dry brush or cloth. Do not scrub, soak or apply leather-cleaning products directly to fabric areas.
SOLES AND HEELS
Avoid wearing your shoes on excessively rough, wet or uneven surfaces. Leather soles will naturally show signs of wear over time.
Heel tips and soles should be checked regularly and replaced by a trusted professional cobbler when necessary. Replacing worn heel tips promptly can help prevent damage to the heel itself.
You may also ask a professional cobbler to add protective sole guards if suitable for your pair.
STORAGE
Store your shoes in their dust bags in a cool, dry and well-ventilated place. Avoid storing them in direct sunlight or inside sealed plastic packaging.
Gently fill the shoes with acid-free tissue paper or use appropriately sized shoe trees to help maintain their shape. Take care not to overfill delicate or mesh styles.
